My Miracle
Josiah Samuel Cotton born on February 16th at 2:50pm (Pensacola time) 3:50pm our time. He weighed 6lb 11oz.
Of course I have sooo much more to share. But we are still out of town. More to come when we get back home for sure. Please keep praying for us ... please pray that papers are signed and discharge goes smoothly (hopefully on Friday). Please pray that the birth father shows up today to sign papers.
We are sooooo happy and soooooooooooooo blessed! :0)

Update
So we ended up leaving about 12:45 am to head out for Pensacola.
We got here at almost 6am.
Staying with a good friend of mine until things prgress more.
She's at 4 almost 5 cm.
They still haven't broken her water yet ... so hopefully when that happens things will start progressing faster.
Keep us in your prayers. Today is the day that Josiah will be born! :0)

The Date
Our bmom texted me earlier today and told me that the doctor has scheduled to induce her on March 1st. The hospital will not let him induce any earlier than that unless medically necessary. She is, however, already 2cm dialated and her next doctors appointment is next Tuesday. Her doctor is expecting to see her before then ..... sooooo
ANY DAY!
Any day we could be holding our sweet boy in our arms!
One thing that you could keep praying for us about is that we will be able to get to the hospital in time to see our son be born. Being able to see our son be born is an incredible GIFT to us and we don't want to miss out on this opportunity. This is as close as I can get to experiencing the birth of our child ... I just don't want to miss it. And since she can really go any day it's hard to plan to get there in enough time. We are at least five and a half hours away ... so just pray that we can make it. :0)

Tomorrow!
Tomorrow is the day when we find out our baby boys new due date! Our bmom's doctor agreed to inducing her and he is supposed to give that very special date tomorrow!
YIPEE!! :0)
Now, although we are getting a new date tomorrow I still feel like he could come any time. She is still having contractions on and off and is excited to see if she is dilated at all tomorrow at her appointment.
I am feeling really really good and confident in where we are with our adoption process right now. That's kind of scary admitting that ... but it's just been really refreshing having a relationship with our bmom. It's nice that I can just text her and we can chat back and forth. It makes the situation more real for both of us I think.
Josiah's bag is packed and I am no longer worried about him coming home from the hospital naked. lol I even made up a packing list for his mommy and daddy so that we don't forget our heads as we are rushing out the door for our long drive to Pensacola.
Come on baby boy we are ready to finally hold you in our arms!
Meanwhile ... as we are continuing to wait for our sweet boy to arrive we are still being crafty around the Cotton household.
We are still working on the room ... but here is something that we added to the wall that will go behind the crib ...
First we traced a stencil on the wall using a projector.
Then we started painting
The finished product ... now we just need to move the crib back.
I have seen these super cute wipe case covers .. but they sell for like $25 and I refuse to spend that much money on something when I know that I could make it myself.... so here's what I made!
Here are the materials that I started with ... isn't the fabric the cutest thing you have ever seen??!?!?!
Then I covered the wipe case with felt for extra padding.
Then I hot glued the fabric on top of the felt.
Then I added ribbon all the way around the sides.
Here is how they turned out: I also made a little pouch that holds diapers.
See the cute little newborn diapers sticking out :0)
So that's about all that is going on here at the moment. Just being crafty and trying NOT to go crazy while waiting for JOSIAH TO COME! :0) You know that I will be posting tomorrow when I find out the DATE that our little man is supposed to come!

SO BLESSED!
So, how about we just won another giveaway!
Seriously, we have been so blessed!
We won up to three photo sessions per year at half price FOR LIFE!
You guys have to go over to Julie Paisley's blog and check her out. She had already offered a free newborn session to us for when baby Josiah comes and now 1/2 price pictures for LIFE! I'm super, super excited! I love, love, LOVE pictures and I just can't wait to be able to capture our sweet little family each year!
I managed to drag myself back to work today ... although if I wasn't trying to save my days I would have parked my butt back in bed. I came home took my Amoxicillin, Musinex, Excedrin, and took a four hour nap ... and I'm happy to say that I'm feeling pretty much back at 100% again! YAY!
Although I stayed at home yesterday, I was able to pack our sweet little boys bag for the hospital. I'm getting excited and so, so, SO ready to meet Josiah! Our bmom goes to her next doctor appointment on the 8th to find out the date to induce! Come on Josiah! :0)
Happy almost Friday!

Not In My Plans
So, it's three in the morning ... I've been awake since two with the worst sore throat EVER. I'm really afraid that this might have turned into strep. I really can't describe how upset I am about having to use one of my precious, precious days off to deal with stupid strep when I've been saving the very few I have to stay at home with Josiah. You know I'm really sick if I'm even beginning to think about possibly using one tomorrow. But today was so rough that I can't fathom the idea of having to talk all day and teach 18 first graders. :0( I know that I need to take care of myself or I won't be well enough to take care of our sweet boy AT. ALL. if I'm not well.... but it just makes me sad that I am already going to miss out on staying home with him for a long period of time, that I really really really really didn't want to use one of my precious days. But ... I think I am. I already wrote sub plans and it's only THREE IN THE MORNING. sigh.... calling around six(ish) to ask for a sub. This is super depressing, and not at all what I wanted. sniff, sniff.

Goodbye January!
I've been sick ever since this past Saturday. I'm pretty sure that the constant stress of this past week is weighing on my immune system and my body is yelling at me to take a chill pill and start taking care of myself.
Although I'm feeling pretty crummy today inside I am really wanting to jump up and down screaming that FEBRUARY HAS FINALLY ARRIVED!!!! Sheesh ... January was the LONGEST month of my life I do believe. I'm so glad that we are getting closer and closer to meeting our sweet little man. I can't even describe what a relief if will be to just hold him in my arms and KNOW that the waiting is finally, finally, FINALLY over. sigh ....
There is no new news really to report today. Still playing the "W" game. If you could just pray for asituation or a lack of communication or hopefully nothing at all that came up today. It has to do with adoption funds .... and I'm praying that it's nothing at all to be concerned about. I'll know more tomorrow. Really, we don't need anything more on our plate right not to have to deal with .... so I'm so praying that this is just a miscommunication sort of thing.
This weekend we started doing this --->
Still not done .... more pictures later :0)
